About Us

Rooted in Tradition. Designed for Today.

This brand was born from a simple, personal need: finding a safe, sustainable way to feed a child without relying on plastic.

As an Indian, stainless steel is a way of life. Growing up, meals were served in steel plates and bowls that lasted for decades — sturdy, easy to clean, and passed down through generations. It was a material that just made sense.

But after becoming a mother in the Netherlands, it was surprising to find that almost all children's tableware was made from plastic or silicone. The shelves were filled with options, yet none felt right. Knowing the durability, safety, and sustainability of stainless steel, it felt wrong to settle for less.

That’s when the idea took shape: why not bring back what’s always worked — and share it with others?

So this store was created to offer a better choice. A thoughtfully curated range of plastic-free stainless steel essentials, designed for modern families but inspired by timeless tradition. Whether it’s for baby’s first bites, lunch on the go, or storing leftovers, these products are made to last — and made to make a difference.

At its core, this brand is about reducing plastic in our homes, making healthier choices, and creating a more sustainable future for the next generation.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

P.S. If you're wondering what our brand name means, thaali is the hindi word for 'steel plate'. When our founder's little one started talking, and then asking for food, he would often cry out 'thaali mama'. Thus, the name was born!
